SURIMI
“Surimi” is a Japanese word for meat products of fish that have been deboned, washed, pureed, … and can be preserved frozen.
Today, “Surimi” has been produced in many countries around the world and has become the common name for dishes made from frozen minced fish.
“Surimi” gathers advantages such as high protein content, low lipid, absence of cholesterol as well as easy absorption for the human body. The high degree of setting gives the product the same elasticity as scallops, crabs, shrimp, etc. Since then “Surimi” is used to manufacture products: Kamaboko, Chikuwa,…
